Founded
in 1982 and based in New York City, Schron Associates is a professional
business services company specializing in meeting
& event planning and group incentive
travel. Globally, what we do is often called "MICE"
(Meetings, Incentives, Conventions & Exhibitions) or "business
tourism," which includes MICE as well as corporate
educational travel, business study seminars, etc. We particularly
specialize in management retreats, employee and client appreciation
trips, business study tours and other such events of under 100 guests
that require high quality venues and customized services as well as a
high touch, personal approach.
As a family business with decades of experience, we do things the old
fashioned way: with attention to detail and a personal touch. Unlike our
big, brand-driven competitors that take on hundreds of clients at a time,
we serve a smaller, more select client base. We accept only a limited
number of assignments each year from clients who appreciate attention
to detail, personal service and our no-nonsense, results-oriented
attitude. We offer customized solutions based on unbiased advice
and a focus on serving one client at a time.

in organizing cruises for meetings, incentives
and affinity groups, offer destination management services here in
New York City, and have developed expertise in
"business tourism,"
planning and escorting corporate group travel to explore new markets
or to study factories or other facilities. We
promise that, from start to finish, your program is handled personally
by a member of our management team who is both accessible and accountable
to you. We work with you to develop customized solutions that meet
your need for results and return on investment.

Rob Schron Nominated for "Planner of the Year"
We are proud to announce that Rob Schron
was nominated for the 2008 "Planner of the Year" award,
given by the New York chapter of Meeting Professionals International
(MPI). MPI is a leading MICE industry professional association with
over 24,000 members in more than 80 countries. The Greater New York chapter
is one of the largest, with over 1,000 members. Recently, Rob has chaired
the chapter's International Relations Committee, which earlier
this year hosted an Emerging Destinations seminar with participation from
exciting MICE venues like Dubai, Hong Kong and South Africa.
